When you do say yes, perform the duties expected of you;
Encourage colleagues to come with you to meetings;
Attend the programs offered across the state that are sponsored by LPNAO;
Attend graduations of local schools of practical nursing;
Make friends with the RNs at work; (Yes, the RN’s, because friends support their friends.)
When you talk with other nurses and they ask you how you know about pending legislative changes, explain to them that you learned of the changes through your professional organization, LPNAO.
